Supporting Queensland Energy Consumers Webinar – South East Queensland
The Energy and Water Ombudsman (EWOQ) hosted the Supporting Energy Consumers financially affected by COVID-19 – South East Queensland webinar on 20 October 2020.
Financial counsellors and community organisations were invited to join Queensland’s Energy and Water Ombudsman, Jane Pires, in conversation with energy retailers and distributors for a discussion about how to deliver fair and reasonable outcomes for energy consumers experiencing financial difficulty – often for the first time.
This one-hour webinar includes presentations from AGL, Alinta Energy, Energex, EnergyAustralia and Origin Energy outlining their current and ongoing approach to customer support during the COVID-19 pandemic, along with a Q&A.
We also ran a Regional Queensland webinar with presentations by Ergon Energy.
