Webinar: Energy literacy for financial counsellors
The Energy and Water Ombudsman (EWOQ) co-hosted the Energy literacy for financial counsellors webinar with FCAQ on 17 August 2021.
New and emerging financial counsellors (first and second year), affiliates and financial capability workers were invited to join a webinar co-hosted by Queensland’s Energy and Water Ombudsman, Jane Pires and the Financial Counsellors' Association of Queensland's Executive Officer, Jon O'Mally.
In this one-hour webinar we discussed:
- developing relationships with energy companies
- the Home Energy Emergency Assistance Scheme (HEEAS) process, presented by Smart Service Queensland
- interacting with EWOQ - our processes and how we can help
- understanding energy bills.
